In Memoriam
1943-2007

Werner A. Rechsteiner was a member of the founding board and actively involved in establishing the AFS Foundation in 2004. An AFS returnee of the 60s, three of his children went on AFS and the family hosted as many times a young exchange student. In 1991 Werner Rechsteiner was named honorary member of AFS Switzerland. He passed away unexpectedly in June 2007.
